Every skilled builder in San Diego can name the person who opened the door for them. A teacher who brought the trades into a classroom. A scholarship that covered tuition. A foreman who said, "Come back tomorrow."

Build San Diego Foundation opens that door for the next generation. Through Building Tomorrow™ K-12 outreach and Workforce Bridge Scholarship™ awards, we connect San Diegans to real construction careers. Our San Diego County-wide Construction Hiring Fairs put skilled workers, management and admin staff face to face with construction employers who are actively hiring.

For veterans and new career entrants, the Construction Field Ready Certificate Program is a collaboration between AGC San Diego Education and Build San Diego Foundation. AGC San Diego Education delivers turnkey training, and BSDF recruits, enrolls, funds and supports participants through job placement.

This year, Building Tomorrow™ reached more than 1,000 students across nine school sites. Contractors across San Diego are ready to hire. Too often, what stands between a motivated person and a paying career is a few thousand dollars in training, tools and tuition.

We are raising $35,000 by December 31. Every builder starts somewhere. Help us open the door.
